I hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend.
I know we did. It was a lot of hours on the road.
We had a 7 1/2 hour trip each way.
We left Saturday morning at 5 am.
We crammed so much into a day
and a half that's it's unreal.
But, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
We had so much fun with family and friends.
We got back home yesterday.
We were so tired.

Looks like you and your sister have the love of gardening in common. Her yard and deck are very pretty. :)
Your sister has a beautiful garden!!! Love the cozy porch too.
Terrie,
Thanks for showing a little of my garden. That is honeysuckle on the fence. I am so far behind outside it's not even funny. It was
great seeing you guys this weekend!
Love ya!
Terrie,
You certainly had a whirlwind trip, but it sounds like a fun one. I really like the covered sitting area you created on your deck. I have been brainstorming for a way to create a bit more privacy from my side neighbor’s and seeing yours has given me some ideas. It could be built separate from the rest of the deck which I like, because it is something that could be a DIY project. I will show it to hubby. Have a good one. ~Cathy~
Terrie,
I am so glad that you had a wonderful trip!!! You are so lucky to have a sister!!! I always wanted one...I have 2 really close friends that are sisters and I love their relationship...so different than just friends...they have a shorthand with each other...just wonderful!!!
She obviously shares your green thumb!!! What a wonderful garden!!!
I hope you are having a wonderful day!!!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time! Your sis has a beautiful garden, and her fur baby is so cute! Glad you got to enjoy the time with her. Kathy
It sounds like you had a wonderful time, Terrie! Good for you. I love your sister's garden. Your parents must have had green thumbs because you both have inherited the gene! And her dog is beautiful also!
Sister's are wonderful, aren't they?
Get some rest! :-)

Those times with family are so sweet even though they are short times, they are so worth it! Your sister must share the love of flowers with you. I love her little tranquil place on the deck. Everyone needs a place like that.
ohh its so beautiful! so much talent, and the sitting place looks so cozy.
HI Terrie! So glad you had a good weekend, we did too! Lots of yard work, a dinner at our dinner group and a picnic...tiring but FUN! Have you seen my latest post at RMS? It is PART of our yard, pond, deck etc. Hugs, Pinky

Your sister's deck is lovely as is her yard. You know I would love the cats, I have some in my yard to, besides the black one that walks around that is.
Wow! That was a packed trip. I can see why you are tired.
